What do YOU need?
Our experts will guide you through every step of the way
When applying for your new business, please have your ID number ready. This is mandatory to facilitate verification of your citizenship by Lex Digitals in collaboration with the Department of Home Affairs for registering your new business in your name.
Rest assured, we do not retain your personal information after registering your business, and we NEVER sell or grant access to any of your information to third parties.
We require the following:
- Full name & Surname as is printed on your ID card/book
- ID number
- Date of ID issued
This is only required if you are legally married, as it helps to verify the ownership of the ID holder.
What we require here is:
- Date of marriage made legal
- Spouse’s ID number
When registering for a business, selecting a fitting business name that aligns with your brand is crucial. The possibilities are endless.
However, due to the abundance of businesses, the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) mandates applicants to propose four business names. The CIPC then conducts a search across its database to check if any of the proposed names have already been reserved. If none have, only one of the four business names suggested by you will be reserved.
If you opt for our popular Start-Up Package, we at Lex Digitals highly advise choosing a name closely related to the domain name of your website.
Your business will require a designated place of operation.
You must provide a valid address where your business will operate from.
For home-based businesses, your home address suffices as the operational address.
